Women's empowerment is a critical aspect of India's development. According to the NFHS-5 report, only 21.4% of women are financially independent. KAL KE SITARE FOUNDATION is addressing this issue through its SHG program, which has shown promising results. In Uttar Pradesh, the organization has established over 100 SHGs, benefiting thousands of women. Anita Devi, a SHG member from India, shared, 'The SHG has enabled me to earn a decent income and support my family.' Rajiv Kumar, a community leader from Uttar Pradesh, added, 'The program has not only empowered women but also increased community participation in economic activities.' Suresh Patil, a local entrepreneur, noted, 'The SHG program has provided women with the skills and resources needed to become financially independent.' With a budget of ₹30 lakhs allocated for this program in 2026, KAL KE SITARE FOUNDATION aims to establish over 500 SHGs across the country.
